Meet Twogether Dental: Two Sisters, One Practice
The "w" in Twogether isn't a typo. It's the whole story: Dr. Iliana Paparisto, a dentist, and her sister Meri Paparisto, a denturist, building one practice where almost everything your mouth needs happens under one roof.
Dentistry can feel anonymous: chains with rotating dentists, treatment plans that read like invoices, nobody who remembers your name. A family practice is the opposite bet.
Dr. Iliana Paparisto, DDS, DMD
Dentist · Implants & restorative
Dr. Iliana earned her BA from the University of Toronto in 2004, her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Umeå University in Sweden in 2011 (including a five-month internship in Paris), then practiced two years in Stockholm before returning to Canada, where she was one of a select group of international students accepted into the University of Manitoba's dentistry program, earning her DMD in 2013. She's a member of the Ontario Dental Association.
Meri Paparisto, DD
Denturist · Dentures & partials
Meri has been crafting dentures for the Danforth and East York area for 16 years. Coming from a family of dental professionals, she handles everything from first dentures to complex cases, with a reputation for perfect fits and fast repairs. In 2017 she teamed up with her sister, and Twogether was born: her denture practice and Dr. Iliana's dental practice, side by side.
Dr. Samantha Koh, DDS
Denturist · Dentures & partials
Dr. Koh graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2021. After spending two years in private practice in Australia, Dr. Koh returned home to Toronto in late 2023.
Dr. Koh enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with a particular interest in restorative and preventive care. Dr. Koh believes in using evidence-based dentistry to provide thoughtful, practical treatment and continues to build knowledge and skills through ongoing professional development.
Our story
Why we opened on the Danforth
For more than a decade, the Danforth and East York area has been our home. We’ve raised our children here, our families are still nearby, and this is where much of our everyday life happens.
That’s why we chose to open Twogether Dental here. We’re a family-owned and operated practice, and we wanted to build something lasting in the neighbourhood we already considered home.

We go at your pace
Many patients feel anxious about dental treatment and we understand that. That's why we take things at a pace that feels comfortable for you. At each stage, we’ll explain what we’re doing, why, and answer your questions before we continue.

Clear pricing
We publish starting prices for every treatment. Every treatment starts with an initial assessment, where you’ll get a personalized quote showing your recommended care, expected insurance or CDCP coverage, and out-of-pocket cost.

No judgement, no lectures
If it’s been a while since your last visit, that’s fine. You won’t hear any lectures or judgement. Our focus is on your oral health as it stands today, understanding what’s going on, and helping you take the next step at a pace that feels manageable.
